Fall is for Farms!

  • Ken’s Korny Maze kicks off its 24th season at the end of September and regulars cannot wait to see what the team has cooked up for this season. Ken’s offers something for every age group including an Adventure Zone, an expanded hayride, and, of course, that Korny Corn Maze.
  • McLean Farms is a multigenerational farm that started as a tobacco farm before transforming into a nursery in the late 1990s. Visitors shop here year-round for seasonal vegetables and plants, but fall is the annual highlight as McLean’s opens over 20 acres of pumpkin fields to the public. McLean also hosts a variety of fall events that can be found on their social media pages.
  • Naylor Family Farm, in nearby Harnett County, offers a huge corn maze, hayrides, and a pumpkin patch. This is the perfect spot to bring the whole family or meet up with friends! Test your skills in the corn maze and then pick out the perfect pumpkin!
  • Millstone Creek Orchards offers a terrific alternative for those who aren’t fans of all things pumpkin. Located in Randolph County, the beautiful drive to Millstone rewards visitors with apple picking, hayrides, and a store filled with homemade goods.

Fall is for Frights!

  • Broken Plow Farms starts prepping its Splitbelly Creek Haunted Trail months in advance to make sure visitors have a frightfully ghoulish time! Only the bravest should dare to walk the haunted creek bottom at Broken Plow Farms!
  • Halloween Trail: Fuquay-Varina: Mark your calendars! Fuquay-Varina’s annual Halloween Trail event will be on October 19th! If you prefer fun to frights, enjoy the Family Trail which takes place in the daylight. Once the sun goes down and darkness arrives, the trail transforms into a terrifying walk with endless scary surprises.
